Your clients' bank data.Ready for AI.

TaxBloc gives you one clean CSV per client, straight from the bank. Here's how to turn it into reports with the AI tools you already use.

Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini

AI is only as good as the data you give it.

Scanned statements and copy-typed spreadsheets confuse AI. Bank data from TaxBloc doesn't.

Straight from the bank

No PDFs to scan, no typing errors, nothing for AI to misread.

Same layout every time

Write a prompt once and reuse it for every client, every quarter.

Works with what you have

Any AI tool that can read a spreadsheet can read the CSV.

Which AI tool for what.

You don't need all four. Pick the one that fits how your practice already works.

Claude

Upload the CSV and ask for a written summary, a category table or a list of client questions. Strong on long, careful reports that explain their reasoning.

Best for written reports

ChatGPT

Upload the CSV and ask it to analyse, chart or build a spreadsheet. It can hand back an Excel file you download and edit.

Best for charts and files

Copilot in Excel

Open the CSV in Excel and ask Copilot to add a category column, pivot tables or formulas. The work stays in your workbook. Needs a Microsoft 365 Copilot licence.

Best if you live in Excel

Gemini in Sheets

Import the CSV into Google Sheets and ask Gemini to summarise, group or build tables inside the sheet.

Best on Google Workspace

Whichever you choose, use a business or team plan and check its data settings before you upload client records. How to use AI safely

Try it in five minutes.

Use our sample CSV. It's made-up data for a fictional sole trader, so there's nothing sensitive in it.

1

Get the sample CSV

Run the demo to see the client journey and get the CSV by email. It's the same file your clients' data will arrive in.

2

Upload it with this prompt

This CSV is one quarter of a sole trader's bank transactions from TaxBloc. 1. Put each transaction into an HMRC self-employment category. 2. Show total income, and expenses by category, in a table. 3. List anything you're unsure about as short questions I can send the client. If a transaction could be personal, ask. Don't guess.
3

Check what comes back

You should get something like the report at the top of this page. Before you use it:

  • Totals match the CSV
  • Transfers and refunds aren't counted as income
  • Anything personal is flagged, not claimed

Prompts for every kind of client.

Pick a client type, copy a prompt, and upload it with that client's CSV.

These are starting points. Edit them to match how you work, and always review the output.

Use AI safely with client data.

Bank transactions are personal data. AI can help with them, as long as you stay in control.

This is practical guidance, not legal advice. Follow your professional body's guidance on AI and your firm's data policy.

  • Use a business or team planCheck the settings so client data isn't used to train the model.
  • Tell your clientsMention AI tools in your engagement letter or privacy notice.
  • Share only what's neededRemove names and account numbers if the task doesn't need them.
  • Check every figureAI can miscategorise or misread. You sign off, not the AI.
  • Keep a recordSave the prompt and the output with the client file.

Sector reports are coming.
